I was born In Alexandria, Louisiana and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 12. I graduated high school in Las Vegas and joined the United States Army as a military police officer. I spent two years in Germany and then returned to Alexandria, Louisiana. I moved to Monroe in 1991 and started school at Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM).
